Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona

The Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona (CCiTUB) provide state-of-the-art characterization technologies, specializing technological advice and methodological development to both the research and industry community. They have 36 technical units in the fields of Chemistry, Materials Science and Biosciences, which enable research in multidisciplinary projects. The field of Biosciences includes the Animal Experimentation Units, with more than 35 years of expertise, which are registered in the Register of Experimental Animal User Centres of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The CCiTUBs have an ISO 9001:2015 certification. This certification guarantees using a quality management system, which also satisfies the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GM) for support in the public and private research activities as well as for the delivery of analytical, scientific, technical and other services.
