Biobank Hospital Universitario de Getafe

The Biobank of the University Hospital of Getafe, managed by the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the University Hospital of Getafe, was authorized by the Community of Madrid in 2013 and is registered with the Institute of Health Carlos III (B.0000785). It is a platform in the hospital field, with ISO 9001:2015 certification, which works to obtain, store, manage and distribute collections of human biological samples of great interest for research and which are available to the entire scientific community.
The mission of the Biobank is to obtain and conserve biological samples with quality criteria, to promote and facilitate biomedical research of excellence in different pathologies, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
